Lars Skramstad has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Managment and a MBA from Heriot-Watt University. In addition to his work for BioKapital he holds a position as business manager in Geno. Skramstad also has broad experience from economy and administration.

Irma Oskam is originally from the Netherlands and graduated from The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht in 1996. She worked as a clinical veterinarian until 1999, when she moved to Norway and obtained a PhD in reproductive medicine at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science in Oslo in 2004.

 

Oskam's work focuses on egg -, sperm - and embryo physiology and assisted reproductive techniques in relation to (in)fertility and treatment in production animals and humans. She came to BioKapital AS from a position as researcher and project leader for fertility preservation in young cancer patients at Oslo University Hospital. She has broad clinical and research experience in the field of male and female reproduction with a key interest in fertility preservation techniques.  

 

 

Controller Kjetil Lindstad

Kjetil Lindstad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School and is an authorized accountant. Besides functioning as a Financial Controller in Geno and Biokapital, he is also the Financial Director of Cryogenetics AS and the Managing Director of GenderGuide AS. Lindstad has extensive experience from financing business and auditing besides sales and logistics.

Jan Sunde has a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Department of Molecular Biology at the University of Bergen, Norway on digestive proteases, feed utilization and growth in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar L.). During this period he was employed at the Institute of Marine Research. He holds the title Siv.ing. (M.Sc.) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. Dr.Sunde has more than 15 years of research experience covering biological water treatment, fish nutrition, reproduction, bull fertility and statistical analysis.

Anne Hege Alm-Kristiansen holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Department of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Oslo, Norway. During her Ph.D. and M.Sc. she worked in the field of transcription, studying protein-protein interactions, localization and function. She has broad experience in cell biology, immunology and biochemistry.

Inger Synnøve Grevle holds a Bachelor degree in food technology from Sør-Trøndelag University College and has more than 20 years of laboratory and research experience in semen preservation from farmed animals and fish. Grevle has also broad experience from development and maintenance of quality assignment systems.

Karin E. Waterhouse has a PhD in physiology and cell biology from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Sciences on male reproduction and semen conservation. During her PhD period she was employed at Team Semin, a former R&D company. She recieved her Cand. Scient. degree at the University of Oslo, in physiology and cell biology. Karin has broad research experience and knowledge in spermatology and semen evaluation and conservation. Her main scientific interest`s lays in the unanswered question why spermatozoa from one apparently normal male are less capable of fertilising eggs than other males.

Randi Therese Garmo graduated from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science in 2003. She defended her PhD thesis: “The significance of sustainable breeding and management programs on reproductive performance in Norwegian red cows” in January 2010.  During her PhD period she has been employed by the department of Production Animal Clinical Sciences at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science. She has broad clinical experience in veterinary medicine in addition to research knowledge in bovine reproduction, epidemiology and statistics.
